Chelsy Low is a graduate from the West Coast College of Massage Therapy in Victoria, BC where she completed the 3,000 hour Registered Massage Therapy program in 2007.
It was during her time at West Coast College that she received specialized training in anatomy, physiology, hydrotherapy, pain and stress management. In the past 10 years, Chelsy has worked in many settings, both clinical and relaxation. She has worked with a wide variety of patients from Olympic athletes to young children. Most recently, she has completed continuing education in prenatal massage and is finding it very rewarding to treat women in this remarkable stage of life, especially since Chelsy recently had a baby herself.
She uses a variety of techniques including Swedish massage, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy. She is a strong believer that an important part of any therapeutic treatment is relaxation.
Chelsy was raised in Ladysmith and after a brief hiatus is happy to be back home and providing therapy services in her town. She has always been involved in sports in some way and loves the outdoors – her main interests are hiking, swimming, soccer and horse back riding!
