Dr. Chad Arsenault received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in June 2010, graduating with Magna Cum Laude distinction and clinical honours. Dr. Arsenault majored in biology and minored in chemistry during his Bachelor of Science at the University of Prince Edward Island.
He has an interest in research, which led Dr. Arsenault to submit an original research abstract to the World Federation of Chiropractic biennial conference. Dr. Chad Arsenault has furthered his education with certifications in soft tissue treatments such as Active Release Technique® and Graston®, along with courses on shoulder rehabilitation and prevention of running injuries.
Dr. Arsenault was born and raised in Summerside, P.E.I. and was heavily involved with hockey, rugby, and soccer throughout his childhood and teenage years. He feels that it was his involvement in sport that promoted a healthy lifestyle and drove him toward the health care profession. Fishing, hiking, running and any other excuse to enjoy the outdoors and wilderness are another of Dr. Arsenault’s passions.
Dr. Chad is active in the sports community, both locally and nationally. He has worked with the Vancouver Island University (VIU) soccer program and the 2015 Canadian Deaflympics Team in Russia. He was also part of the medical team for the 2014 BC Summer Games in Nanaimo.
